The Dr Beyers Naude Local Municipality (DBNLM) issued a water alert for Jansenville.
According to Edwardine Abader, communications manager for DBNLM, the water alert follows a pipe breakage in Jansenville’s Main Street this morning.
“Water interruptions and shortages will occur.”
The reservoir will be closed in order to commence with repairs,” said Abader.
She said water carting will be arranged for affected areas.
“Humble apologies for any inconvenience this may cause,” Abader said.
