While protesting about service delivery in Mlungisi (Komani), residents set fire to the Komani Town Hall today, February 3.
According to police spokesperson, Captain Namhla Mdleleni, residents from Mlungisi were protesting about service delivery at the town hall.
Mdleleni further said during the protest, the protesters set fire to the town hall.
“No damage was caused to the town hall and there were no injuries,” said Mdleleni.
She said the Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality Mayor, Luleka Gubula, addressed the crowd and the protesters left soon thereafter.
