UNION Pre-School has announced the appointment of Lindsey Allnutt as the school’s new principal.

Allnutt comes to Union from Woodridge Pre-Primary where she taught for several years.

With a wealth of teaching and leadership experience, she is eager to take over the school’s reins.

“I’m extremely excited to join the staff of Union Pre-School and consider it a real blessing to have been given the opportunity to be the principal of such a wonderful pre-school,” said Allnutt.

She said she believes that good teachers teach from the heart.

“I am passionate about teaching and strongly believe in guiding our children to become independent and confident members of society,” Allnut said.

She is the proud mother of two young children, Danika and Khaine, and, although born in Tzaneen in the Limpopo province, Allnutt moved to Port Elizabeth at a very young age.

Allnutt lives by the motto, “strive for perfection and in doing so, you will achieve excellence”.

“I look forward to partnering with the school community to provide our learners with a rigorous, engaging and high-quality school experience,” she said.

Allnutt will assume her new duties on the first day of the 2020 school year.

“I’m committed to building on the legacy that embodies the school and I look forward to taking the school onto even higher ground,” she concluded.
