A MUCH-NEEDED shuttle service between Cradock and Port Elizabeth has just been launched.
“We have initially decided on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but it might change if commuters prefer other days of the week,” said Neville Prinsloo of Big Sky Operations.
Prinsloo said that they were able to take 12 passengers on each trip, but that they needed a minimum of eight people to make the trip viable.
On the morning of a trip, passengers will be collected at their houses in Cradock before 06:30 in order to comfortably get to Port Elizabeth by 09:30.
Passengers will then be dropped off at Greenacres Shopping Centre, Life St George’s Hospital, Netcare Greenacres Hospital, PE Airport, Walmer Park and Baywest Shopping Centre.
After a day of shopping, attending shows, visiting friends or having medical consultations, passengers will again be picked up at their drop off points, or elsewhere by special arrangement, before 16:00.
Prinsloo added that booking was essential and could be done by calling Neville at 076 440 8529 or Dannielle at 065 999 0526 or by sending an e-mail to info@bigsky.co.za.
Big Sky’s offices are situated at The Shed complex in Beeren Street.
