After a week-long break from the Provincial ABC Motsepe League, Seven Stars FC will be in action February 25, when they welcome newcomers Relatives FC of Mdantsane at the Dumpy Adams Sports Complex in Komani at 15:00.

The Komani-based side is gearing up for this tough match after giving away points in their last game two weeks ago.

Stars last played in Addo when they were hammered 3-1 by Bush Pirates who are in the third position in the Stream B log standings while the home side is in seventh position.

The Mdantsane-based Relatives FC will be visiting Komani with their tails up as they are in fifth place after winning five games of their 13 games played this season while Stars has only won two games after playing 13 games.

Seven Stars Head Coach Willie Kepkey has admitted that his team has not done well in the last three games and said they will use the game against Relatives as a turning point.

“We have not played well in our last three games of the league and on February 25, we will be welcoming another good side. We have good young team players who believe that we can deliver in this region. We want to use this game against Relatives as our turning point so that we can open the gap and move away from the relegation zone,” said Kepkey.

Seven Stars only received one point in their last three games which they received while playing against Peace Makers FC in Gqeberha.

Relatives is coming into this game after playing a 0-0 draw at home in Mdantsane against Bizana Pondo Chiefs this past weekend.
