CRADOCK’S Karoo Food Festival presented a trail run at Jenkins Creek, early on Saturday morning.
This event was sponsored by Karoo Brokers, from Cradock, and Old Mutual. A total of 36 runners, who were all presented with goodie bags valued at R300 each from Old Mutual, set off on the 21km race at 07:00 on Saturday morning.
The first man home was Lesley Kuzeba, in a time of 1:20.08, followed by Jonothan Edmund (1.25:11) and Wihan Loubsher (1.26,53).
In the ladies’ section, Estie Collett (1.28:30) took the honours, followed by Olivia Moolman (1.36,23) and Anja Marais (1.44:50).
In the fun run/walk over 5km, Adrian Dyvoy came first in the men’s section and Jane Lord, first in the ladies section.
