BLASTING is scheduled to take place on the R61/3 at the SANRAL quarry in the Cradock district, tomorrow, Friday, February 28, between 12:00 and 14:00.
The road will be temporarily closed due to the blasting activity. Motorists are urged to proceed with caution and adhere to the speed limits.
According to a statement from the construction company, WTW Joint Ventures, the blasting time may need to be adjusted depending on weather conditions. If need be, a second notice with information of the new time will be distributed.
WTW JV has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
