The 12th Grootfontein Dohne Merino Stud Production Auction was held on February 22 in Middelburg. The top AA ram was sold for R15 500 to Norman Collett and André Muller from Cradock. All 66 rams and 182 ewes were sold for an average of R7 530 per ram and R2 926 per ewe.
