IT is now less than two months to go until the fourth Summit Wildlife Auction to be held in Graaff-Reinet on Saturday, September 28.
Chairperson Neil Dodds reported that there will be another world class selection of animals on offer.
Highlights include two daughters of Mr Wow the 75-inch kudu bull of Tembani Wildlife, an 18-inch springbok ram from Jules of the Karoo, and exceptional buffalo genetics.
There is an Archie daughter pregnant to the magnificent young Federer of Chargo Buffalo, and from Graaff-Reinet’s own Lormarins herd, genetics from Grootbaas, Inala and Derdemag.
In addition to these top animals, there are many others on offer including individual trophy animals and hunting packages.
“At Summit you get anything from a blue duiker to a white rhino,” he said.
The auction will once again take place at the Botanic sports complex. The Summit team is hard at work, implementing new innovations to streamline this auction and make it even better than last year’s, said Dodds.
He reminds those travelling to Summit to make a weekend of it, and to enjoy the many attractions of Graaff-Reinet, including the Summit Shield golf tournament to be held on the Friday.
