The police in Komani are seeking the next of kin of three unidentified men aged between 45 and 55 who were discovered at various locations from May to June in Komani.

According to police spokesperson, Captain Namhla Mdleleni, the body of a black man estimated to be about 45 years old was found on the grass close to the Komani Hospital on May 19.

“When he was discovered, he was wearing a floral shirt and floral tekkies,” said Mdleleni.

She said the second body of a black man, about 55 years old, was found on June 12 outside at Dunbar Street, Komani.

“He was covered in blankets and was already decomposed,” said Mdleleni.

In the same month, on June 17, she said the body of a black man estimated to be about 50 years of age was found near the SAB Breweries in Komani.

“His body was found covered, and he was wearing a maroon-coloured jacket. When he was discovered, his body had already decomposed and it seems like there was a fire close by to warm him,” said Mdleleni.
