A SEMINAR on healthy masculinity and how to be a real man will be held in the Sonskyn Hall in Michausdal on February 15 under auspices of the Cradock branch of the Grace Community in South Africa.
Pastor Steve Thomas, coordinator of the Mennonite Men Church in the United States, will lead this seminar for men and boys over the age of 13, who will learn how to explore that healthy masculinity is better for the whole community.
According to Thomas, men will learn, based on who they are as sons of God, how healthy masculinity can be a way of life.
Thomas has built up a relationship with Mennonite Men Church in South Africa that is now part of the same international network, the Mennonite World Conference, a worldwide Anabaptist Church.
He is presently in Tanzania and will visit the church in Cradock from February 14 to 17 to present the seminar on February 15 and spend the weekend with pastor Lawrence Coetzee.
The seminar will start at 18:00 and costs R50 per person to attend.
