ROLL up, roll up – the modern-day circus, started by an English horseman, Philip Astley, in 1768, has just turned 250 years old and will be visiting Graaff-Reinet this weekend!

The McLaren Circus, which features top local and international acts from around the globe, has assembled a world-class production for the 2018 show which will be staged on Friday and Saturday, December 7 to 8, at the College Road grounds.

This year’s highlights include the talented Tiago Oliveria, from Brazil, who will delight the audience with his amazing juggling skills and thrilling rolla-rolla act; hysterical clowns, Pixie and little Alick, who will bring on the laughter with their antics, and the Castillo Brothers from Venezuela, who will present their breathtaking wheel of death act.

The two-hour, awe-inspiring, production furthermore includes acrobats, aerialists, and strength challenging acts.

The McLaren Circus also has a line-up of spectacular animals. These include lions, tigers, poodles, horses, ponies, pythons, alligators and even miniature goats.

Ticket are available for R100, R130 and R150 per child, from the McLaren Circus ticket office, which opens daily, on all show days.

Show starts at 19:00 on both days.
