The detectives
in Hofmeyr are investigating an attempted murder case after a shooting incident
that took place on July 3.

According
to police spokesperson Captain Ursula Roelofse, it is alleged that the 58-year-old

being occupied by the suspect.

“On
Sunday at 17:00 the suspect saw the victim in Main Street and they once again
started to argue with one another,” said Roelofse.

“It
was then that the suspect took out a firearm and fired four shots at the victim.

“The

hospital by ambulance.”

Roelofse
said the investigation continues and the suspect has not yet been arrested.
