While swimming with a group of friends at the Nqweba Dam in
Graaff-Reinet, Simphiwe Myokiso (35) experienced some difficulty and drowned on
November 14.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu confirmed that
a group of friends went to the Nqweba Dam to swim on November 14, at about
15:00.
“Myokiso, and a friend were in the water when he experienced
some difficulty and drowned,” said Naidu.
She further said that an inquest docket has been opened for
investigation.
