YADAC’s chase got off to a disastrous start as Captain fantastic, Anathi Joe, was in great form with his ball. Joe took six wickets bowling seven overs, surrendering only 24 runs, while Reinhardt Stride took four wickets.
The visitors from East London were all bowled out scoring only 74 runs.
Komani Royals Captain, Anathi Joe, was very happy to see his charges claim a confidence-boosting win to move into second place, closing the year on a high note.
“It is a big confidence booster for us as a team winning all our first half games of the season and it was part of our plan. These are the types of situations that we like to find ourselves in and obviously finding a way to get over the line,” said Joe.
“It was nice to put in a performance for the team, but the whole bowling unit was unbelievable today; the bowlers delivered, so I am really happy with this win. But we know that there is still a lot to do here in the promotional league.”
