KlevaKidz safety campaign launched

Is it Batman? Is it The Green Lantern? Is it Spiderman? No! It is Mr Wise – all dressed in blue and ready to protect young school learners. The annual Engen KlevaKidz promotion, an educational campaign that uses industrial theatre to engage and educate young learners across South Africa about the importance of paraffin safety, was recently launched in the Eastern Cape at Nkululeko Primary School in Mdantsane. With Mr Wise, a superhero safety educator, at the forefront, they furthermore visited 15 schools in Komani and Aliwal North. The campaign, which has already visited schools in Limpopo, North West and the Free State, will conclude in the Western Cape later this month. Read the story on page 4. Photo:SUPPLIED
