THE Juventus Football Club, of Jojweni Location in Cacadu, triumphed at the annual Jojo festive tournament at the end of last year.
This came after they beat Blue Sonics FC 1-0 in the final.
Juventas coach, Mandla Ndabula, said, “Although we were happy with the standard of the game, certain organisational aspects need to improve.”
The aim of the tournament, which was started in 2013, is to raise funds and donate school uniforms to less-fortunate learners.
The winning team walked away with R3 500 in prize money and a trophy, while the runners-up received R2 000 in prize money and silver medals.
The best player award went to Avumile Ntsham; best referee was Luxolo Magodongo and the best coach was Mandla Ndabula.
They each received R100.
