Gill Primary hosted its very first picnic concert on the rugby field in what turned out to be a magical night under the Karoo sky. Lourens (pictured, right) and Esté Rabé produced a unique sound and their performance was electric. The Bottomless Coffee Band is a married multi-instrumentalist folk-rock duo from Cape Town, who the Grade 7s invited for a picnic performance. The concert was a huge success. Gill Primary thanked all the organisers and supporters and said they hoped to make it an annual event.Photo:SUPPLIED
