More than one year after a fire gutted the Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality Traffic Department, the
traffic office is now fully operational and will be open throughout the day to
offer a wide range of services to the public.
The traffic department office was gutted by a fire in
August last year and after the fire, the traffic department was only able
to offer services to 30 customers a day.
Finally, in September the office was refurbished and recently
opened its doors to the public after all the necessary equipment was installed
by the municipality in partnership with the Department of Transport.

The traffic department will operate throughout the
day and offer services such as, registration and licencing of vehicles, learners
and driving licences, licence renewals and roadworthiness tests.
