THE Karoo Community Church will host the 2018 edition of the Global Leadership Summit (GLS) at the Assembly Church in Caledon Street, Graaff-Reinet, on Friday and Saturday, November 2 and 3.

The two-day leadership event takes place annually in August at Willow Creek Community Church’s campus in Chicago.

Founded in 1992, Willow Creek Association (WCA) is the organisation behind The Global Leadership Summit.

They serve pioneering pastors and leaders around the world by curating inspirational leadership, intentional skill development and experiences that help local churches and businesses thrive.

The speakers for the event include, Craig Groeschel (Life Church senior pastor), Juliet Funt (Whitespace at Work), T.D. Jakes (The Potter’s House senior pastor), Simon Sinek (New York Times best-selling author; optimist), Rasmus Ankersen (best-selling author; entrepreneur), Strive Masiyiwe (founder and chairman of Econet Group; philanthropist), John Maxwell (leadership expert and best-selling author; coach), Carla Harris (vice chairman, managing director and senior client advisor at Morgan Stanley), Danielle Strickland (pastor, author and justice advocate), Erwin McManus (author, futurist, founder of Mosaic), Danny Meyer (restaurateur, Time Magazine’s ‘100 Most Influential People’), David Livermore (president of Cultural Intelligence Centre, best-selling author) and Dr Nthabiseng Legoete (founder and CEO of Quali Health; social entrepreneur).

The event starts at 09.00 to 16:30 on the Friday, and on Saturday, from 08:30 to 15:30.

To encourage growth and accessibility to world-class leadership input, WCSA is offering a special rate of R440 for the summit. Included in this cost are two lunches and all teas. Students pay R400 and learners R350.
