The Bay Blues Festival: Will take place at the Music Kitchen in Port Elizabeth on December 20 from 14:00 to 23:00. Tickets at R280 per person are available from www.quicket.co.za. The line-up includes Albert Frost, Valiant Swart, The T Junction Blues Band, The Blues Collective and many more.

New Year’s Barn Dance: Will be presented by Karoo Ranching at Martyrsford Farm, Jansenville, on December 31 from 19:00. Tickets at R100 per person include dinner; no charge for children under 12. A cash bar will be available. Bookings can be made with 076 984 4695.

The Festival of Lights: All are invited to this joyful family celebration hosted by the Bethesda Arts Centre and The Bushman Heritage Museum on December 31 from 19:30 till midnight. Tickets are R180 per adult, R90 per child aged between six and 12. Contact 049 841 1731.
