Police in Cradock are investigating a case of culpable homicide
after a 10-year-old boy was hit by a truck under the bridge on the N10 on June
28.
According to police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu,
it is alleged that the 10-year-old boy was hit by the truck under the bridge on the N10 alongside Midd Road on June 28 at about 22:00.
She said the truck driver did not stop.
“The boy was taken to Cradock Hospital where he later
died,” said Naidu.
She said a case of culpable homicide was open and is under
investigation.
