DURING the second term of 2018, all schools were offered the opportunity to participate in the Santam Schools Drawing and Colouring Competition.

The competitors and the schools could win cash prizes if their pictures were chosen by the adjudicators at Santam.

All learners from Grade R to Grade 4 at JA Ncaca J.P.S. in Cradock participated.

The school management team decided to integrate this project with the life skills subject.

After the pictures were completed, the different grades had to adjudicate the different pictures (for example Grade 1 educators had to choose the best pictures in Grade 2), and the best three pictures in each class were then entered into the competition.

The winners were announced at the end of October and on Tuesday the certificates and medals were handed out to the JA Ncaca J.P.S learners.

The school was proud to announce that there were five winners elected, namely Asekho Mahlaba (Grade 1), Benathi Meyers (Grade R), Kamvalethu Njobe (Grade 4), Simbulele Tosela (Grade 4) and Siphethuxolo Dakuse (Grade 4).
