THE Somerset East Business League Bowling Tournament is an annual event, and on Thursday, March 28, the final games were played at the Somerset East Bowling Club.
As usual, lots of fun was had by all. Some players knew nothing about bowls; some next to nothing but soon enough everybody was pointed in the right direction and the games began.
The hard but joyous occasion was concluded by a prize-giving and steak braai.
Joa Jordaan and her team arranged a fabulous spread for all the hungry players. Congratulations to Gerrie Grobler for a well-organised tournament, as well as the bowling club committee for hosting such a successful event.
