LITTLE BJ Gerber (almost two years old) from the Munchkins Playschool in Cradock, came home this past Friday with very good news.
“He returned by far the most completed fund-raising forms, which is why he was named the winner of the challenge,” said Chrizel Leonie Bartman, BJ’s Educare facilitator.
According to BJ’s mother, Corné Gerber, “Munchkins decided to launch a fund-raising effort, asking each parent to contribute R100 worth of groceries. Forms were circulated on which the toddlers could sell R10 raffle tickets.
“It was a great privilege for us to be involved in Munchkins’ fund-raising, and our whole family participated with great zeal,” said Corné, who took home the large stock of groceries.
