Residents in Komani have embarked on protest action which began earlier today, January 26.
The protest is allegedly as a result of rolling electricity outages, of between nine to 16 days at a time, due to dilapidated municipal electricity infrastructure.
Residents have been seen protesting at the Hexagon and in Cathcart Road and police vehicles are visible in the area.
