Cradock K9 and Highway patrol members successfully traced and arrested three suspects, aged between 22 and 27 years old for the unlawful possession of suspected stolen property on May 4.
According to police spokesperson, Captain Namhla Mdleleni, it is alleged that on May 4, a house breaking and theft case was opened at SAPS Cradock and the stolen items included laptops and a cash register till. The estimated total value of the stolen items is R46 503.
“All the items were recovered and identified by the owner,” said Mdleleni.
She said all arrested suspects will appear before the Cradock Magistrate Court soon.
Chris Hani District commissioner, Major General Rudolph Adolph applauded the members of Cradock K9 and Highway patrol for the tremendous work which resulted in the recovery of the stolen items and the apprehension of the suspects.
