A total of 39 athletes of the Whalers Athletic Club took part in the Two Oceans Marathon in Cape Town last weekend.
Sixteen took part in the 56 km race and a further 23 Whalers completed the 21 km race.

Chané and Michael’s mom Heidi also ran the 21 km and father Johann Jr ran the 56 km race.
The 56 km race took place on Saturday 15 April, while the 21km was on Sunday 16 April. Participants in both reported perfect running weather.Results 56 km:
