The Hemel-en-Aarde Youth Development Centre, the Pebbles Project, has been very busy over the past number of weeks.
All 16 students recently completed their theory and practical training on general housekeeping, waiter training and barista training.
These students then had the opportunity to visit various restaurants and guesthouses for the practical portion of the course. Pebbles Project thanked the following establishments for hosting the young adults so they could put their skills to the test: the Brewery Hemel-en-Aarde, Whalehaven Winery, Biga Restaurant, Cup of Grace kings coffee bar, Sixteen Guesthouse on Main and Running Rabbit Cafè.
