Pairs Bridge tournament in Hermanus a great success

The Hermanus Duplicate Bridge Club successfully held their first Red Point pairs tournament last weekend, attended by 80 players from all over the country. The tournament was held at Hermanus Municipal Hall, which efficiently hosted an extremely well-run event, where competitive bridge was played in a friendly and convivial environment. The wine was sponsored by Creation Wines, and the food by all accounts was superb. Full results can be found on the HDBC website, www.bridgewebs.com. Seated are Elsabe Ketteringham, Beate Muller and Aletta Roberston. The tournament director, Andre Truter, and manager, Judy Wulf, can be seen in the background ensuring all goes well.
