The Overstrand Association for Persons with Disabilities (APD) in Hawston, in partnership with Trauma to Triumph, held a wellness event on Saturday 16 March at the Thusong Centre in Hawston.
Well-attended, its theme was “Your story can help bring healing”, with a view to creating a strong support network for women and their families who were experiencing any form of loss or trauma.
While well-known Radio Sonder Grense (RSG) radio presenter Martelize Brink was the MC, the equally well-known media personality Ingrid Jones was the keynote speaker.
