Overstrand Executive Mayor Dr Annelie Rabie would like to laud local women during her annual Inspirational Women’s Breakfast on 19 August.
Nominations have opened and it is time for individuals, non-profit organisations and businesses to consider who they will nominate as exceptional achievers in their communities in any of the following areas: Animal welfare; Adults in need; Children in need; Community upliftment; Tourism and Arts and Culture.
The closing date is 31 July and nominations should be submitted to the relevant ward councillor. Each ward will have five inspirational women selected from all the nominations to attend the event on 19 August. The Mayoral Committee will make the final decision.
