These were the words of ACDP councillor Rugene Dees of Hawston after she attended Hawston Secondary School’s National Senior Certificate (NSC)-results ceremony.
Principal Lucille Poole mentioned the very real challenges the school faced in 2023.
Its top matriculant is Liron Kleinsmidt, with 72,71%. Hawston Secondary School boasted a matric pass rate of 76,2%.
