It’s the final of the 2024 Trail Series Super League, in partnership with WWF South Africa next weekend at Oak Valley.

Just six points separate Wano Katjiri Brendon D Keeling and Josh Cawood in the XL Senior category. But it’s veteran Jonathan Edwards who is in the lead in the overall standings, 38 points in the clear, and it’s his Super League to lose.

In the women’s Senior XL Super League standings it’s Chloe Pienaar with a slender nine point advantage over Nadine van Driel. But once again it’s the veterans leading the overall standings with consistent racing, with Nadia Goldberg in top spot and third place overall.

In the Long Course Super League, there is a tie for the top spot – with Christian Jacobsz and Simon Short both on 1 197 points. Josie McCann is smashing the ladies Super League overall, with a clear 160+ point lead over Lisa Labuschagne

In the Short Course Super League competition it’s Zackery Day leading fellow junior athlete Nicolas Lowther by a mere 10 points, with senior runner Istvan Lyle Meyer just four points behind. In the ladies it’s Master runner Shelley van der Westhuizen leading the standings on 1 101 points, with Isla Middleton in second.. The Trail Series® Super League consists of seven race days, each at a unique venue and each offering a short, long and XL distance race.
