Join the Overstrand Municipality’s Environmental Management and Conservation Section, along with guest speaker Dr Barry Clark, for a talk on the Onrus Catchment-to-Coast Restoration and Rehabilitation Project.

This event will take place on 16 October, from 17:00 to 19:00, at Thusong Hall in Hawston.

“This talk will provide valuable insights into the project, which covers all aspects of the Onrus River system, from the mountains to the sea,” said the Municipal Manager, Dean O’Neill. “It includes the upper catchment (De Bos Dam), the middle catchment (Onrus Peatland Wetland), and the lower catchment (Estuary). In addition the management interventions, included in the proposed MMP, will be discussed.”
