It was a day to remember when darts players came from all over the Boland to compete in the Doubles Tournament held by the Walker Bay Darts Club.
The tournament, which saw 22 teams from Gansbaai, Hermanus and Macassar battle it out to be crowned Doubles Champion, was very successful.
The White Rabbit Darts Club (WRDC) from Hermanus did very well and fought all the way to the top. Teams were divided into three blocks, where the top two in each block went to the Gold section.
The rest went to the silver section. Gold section:. First place – Johan Jr and Johan Sr (Eagles). Second place – Alex and Nadia (WRDC). Third place – Bruce and Peter (WRDC)
Silver section:
. First place – Jacques and Barney (WRDC). Second place – Riaan and Adrian (Mustang Kings). Third place – Fred and Morné (Gansbaai Engineering)
Johan Jr threw 4 x 180s and Adrian had the highest close of 170.
