Altogether 12 female students from the Boland College Caledon campus were selected to represent the Western Cape at the recent Cossassa (Confederation of South African School Sports Associations) Games, which took place in Gauteng from 21 to 25 September.

Campus manager Afrika Tshona said: “Seven of the students qualified in rugby and five in football. Although some qualified in more than one sport code they had to choose only one code, giving other competitors a chance to be selected as well. I am extremely proud, but also humbled, by their fantastic achievement.”
