The very best of the best across the Cape were recently announced during the 2024 Kfm Best of the Cape Awards.
As in the past, there were many nominations from the Overberg and this beautiful region also boasts two winners in their different categories.
Peregrine Farm Stall was once again named the Best Farm Stall, for the second time in a row. “We’re thrilled to announce we’ve won the Best of The Cape award from KFM!” its Facebook page said.
“A special shout-out to our incredible Peregrine team; this award is a testament to your hard work and dedication. A huge thank you to all our amazing supporters who made this possible. Your loyalty and love mean the world to us. Congratulations to all the other fantastic contestants as well. Here’s to many more years of serving you with the best.”
The Best place to Sweat was awarded to Hermanus MTB Trails. The Hermanus MTB Trail network, in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, has four options, from beginner to serious MTB rider. Starting and finishing at the Hemel-en-Aarde Village, the green, blue, red and black route offers something for every rider.
With trails ranging from fast forest single track to sections of tarmac, the trail will take you past vineyards and orchards, through spectacular fynbos and give you amazing views of the valley and Hermanus.
Hermanus MTB Trails’ Facebook page said: “There you have it – not that we didn’t know it all along – but we are officially the Cape’s Best Place To Sweat! Massive thanks to everyone who casted a vote in our direction. Thank you Kfm 94.5 for these awards that mean so much to the ‘little guys’.”
