It was quite an amazing year for Hermanus Times, and we owe it all to you. Thank you so much for the support, and we wish you a Merry Christmas and prosperous 2023. The team from EARS, the donkey sanctuary outside Greyton, is also ready to welcome visitors. Penny James of EARS, Logan Kimber from Caledon, a visitor, and Shannon Zietsman, also of EARS, with donkeys Pedro and Simon. Pedro is 38 years old and many years ago belonged to Shannon’s grandfather. Shannon has been working at the sanctuary for 11 years. Read more about EARS on page 4.Photo: Mitzi Buys
