This year’s Trans Agulhas Challenge, which took place for the 33rd time, was a big success. The race, described as the toughest inflatable boat challenge in the world, launched on 28 December at Plettenberg Bay. Stage two on the following day was from Mossel Bay to Stilbaai. Stage 3 took the ducks from Stilbaai to Struisbaai and day 4 took place on 31 December from Struisbaai to Uilkransmond and then finally from Gansbaai to Gordon’s Bay.
