Overstrand welcomed the Cape Epic riders on Monday morning when the cyclists defied the strong wind and rain for the first stage. Hermanus was the destination host for three nights and Hermanus High School housed the rider village. Overstrand Executive Mayor Dr Annelie Rabie and Deputy Mayor Lindile Ntsabo saw the cyclists off from the race village at Hermanus High.
