The Overberg Health District is extremely proud of its Clinical Coordinator for Rehabilitation Services who won gold at the Western Cape Department of Health’s Service Excellence Awards recently.
Louise Meyer, who has worked for the Overberg Health Department for the past 18 years, received this outstanding achievement for her dedicated service in the category Best Support Service Employee.
Wilma Kamfer, District Director for the Department of Health and Wellness in the Overberg District, lauded Meyer’s achievement, saying it is “well-deserved”.
“Louise embodies the Department of Health’s values, she goes the extra mile to ensure her patients receive quality service and that they are able to access these services,” Kamfer stated.
“She makes sure she knows her patients and their circumstances. In addition to this, she also goes out of her way to secure donations of mobility and audiology equipment to ensure that patients get the equipment they need as soon as possible. We thank Louise for her dedication and service to people with disabilities living in the Overberg District.”
