Hermanus police request the community’s assistance to locate the family of a man who was murdered in Zwelihle over the weekend.
Captain Fadila September, police spokesperson, reported that the police responded to a complaint of a stabbing in Ziphunzana Street, Zwelihle at approximately 11:50 on Saturday 8 July.
“The victim, a 43-year-old male, was declared dead on the scene,” she stated. “A 44-year old suspect was taken into custody and appeared in court on a charge of murder.”
Sergeant Crystal Plaatjies, the investigating officer, has appealed to members of the community to assist the police with information that could assist them in tracing the deceased’s family. Anyone with information can contact the Hermanus police on 028 313 5300.
