Hermanus Netball Club travelled to Swellendam recently for a match in Round 2 of the Overberg Netball Federation Super League.
Although competition was tough and competitive, the visitors used every turnover ball to add to the scoreboard. They walked away as jubilant victors after beating Swellendam with a final score of 39-18.
The players’ bright pink attire caught the eyes of some young girls who thought that a lot of “Barbies” had arrived in town. This added to the spirit of fun on the day, during which the team also stopped for a cup of coffee and enjoyed the beautiful surrounds.
