Save the date for the “best to visit” Outdoor and Adventure Expo coming to the quaint town of Grabouw from 7-9 November.
“Nicest venue ever!”, “Brilliant show!”, “Phenomenal setting! . . . These are some of the comments from some Outdoor & Adventure Expo exhibitors from last year. The venue and home of the Outdoor and Adventure Expo Grabouw, for the third year running, is the Elgin Grabouw Sports Club next to the Eikenhoff Dam, bordering the Hottentots-Holland Nature Reserve in the Western Cape, near Hermanus, Stellenbosch and Caledon and within 65 km from Cape Town (less than a one-hour drive away).
Last year’s Outdoor and Adventure Expo Grabouw 2024 was a major success. Day visitors enjoyed the day out, had lots of fun and loved the outdoor lifestyle and adventure expo, referring to it as the “purest outdoor and lifestyle expo”, being in nature and with outdoor activities such as kayaking, hiking, cycling, 4×4 activities, etc. Exhibitors introduced everything outdoor, including camping equipment, hiking and cycling gear, cameras, battery systems, bags, braais, mountain bikes, e-bikes, handmade knives, vellies and outdoor clothing, etc.
This year visitors can expect all the food carts, a beer tent and a kiddies play area next to the exhibition area. All the caravans and trailers will be placed together which makes comparing easy, showcasing from basic affordable models to the most modern technology in caravans and trailers, 4×4 vehicles, 4×4 equipment and 4×4 auxiliary equipment, with suppliers showcasing the latest and brand-new technologies.
Access to the Eikenhof Dam allows for non-motorised water sports, including kayaks, water bikes and more.
The Outdoor & Adventure Expo Grabouw has grown immensely since its launch in 2023, doubling in quality exhibitors every year. “Our core success lies in the unique product offering at breathtaking venues set in nature; pure outdoor lifestyle, focused on adventure and activities,” says André Verster, organiser of the event. “It is not a music festival; it is not a flea market; it is not an agricultural show – it is an authentic outdoor experience.
“We’ve added an Outdoor Destinations Hall at the Grabouw event for 2025, with exhibitors showcasing leisure destinations, adventures such as ziplines, hiking, 4×4 and overlanding routes, eco-friendly quad bikes, etc.”

Children under seven enter for free. On Friday all other visitorts pay R80. Saturday and Sunday: R80 for pensioners and children aged 7 to 18, and R150 for adults.
