KOMANI: A 39-year-old suspect is set to appear before the Komani Magistrate’s Court on 15 April on charges of motor vehicle theft.
According to police spokesperson Captain Yolisa Mgolodela, the suspect was arrested by the Komani Flying Squad on the N6 highway, while travelling from Whittlesea to Komani, in a vehicle believed to have been stolen from a construction site in Whittlesea.
She said that during the late evening hours of 13 April, the Radio Control unit received information about a suspected stolen tipper truck en route from Whittlesea to Komani on the N6.
