Annalie Swanepoel (Grade 12) of Somerset College went on to win the Match Play finals last Saturday at the Women’s Amateur Golf Championships held at Clovelly Country Club from 28 to 30 March. She holed her par putt on the 18th green to beat Kajal Mistry (Randpark) to lift the championship trophy. This is her first major win.
