Calling Academy recently completed the installation of two cricket nets at the school’s campus at Vlaeberg. In addition, FUNraiser and Sportmans’ Warehouse donated cricket equipment to boost the school’s cricket programme. Reagan Manuel (left), the captain of Calling Academy’s u-15 team, scored 107 (not out) last weekend, playing for Stellenbosch Hub against Hottentots-Holland Cricket Club. Tafadzwa Xaxa (right) was selected as part of the u-14 Cape Winelands team in 2019. These are just two of the talented players who will benefit from the improved facilities at Calling Academy.
