More than 100 new traffic officers will be out and about this festive season to help keep road users safe.

On Monday (9 December) the Western Cape government proudly hosted a graduation ceremony for 133 traffic officers at the Gene Louw Traffic College in Brackenfell.

The graduation comes at a time of increased travelling and heightened road safety risks during the festive season.

The new recruits will be deployed across the province.
