Checkers Stellenbosch acted swiftly to donate energy drinks, water, pies and snacks to the firefighters who battled the recent Du Toits Kloof fire. Wesley Dreyer (centre), a representative of the Cape Winelands Fire Services with Shaun Adams (Branch Manager), Jessica Thompson (Sales Manager), Tracy Farmer (Fresh Foods Manager) and Jomanda Plaatjies (LiquorShop Manager) of the branch were on hand to make sure the everyday heroes received the sustenance to help them do their important work.
